New Year New Beginnings

In the words of Simon Sinek “Dream big. Start small. But most of all. Start.” Life is all about what you make it. Choose today to make the rest of your life the best of your life. We often talk about finding our passion, I encourage you to discover yours because when you do, you’ll be unstoppable. Procrastination will fade away and you will begin to tap into your unlimited potential.

I encourage you to discover your greatest potential. Always remember your past does not define you or your future. Each struggle is a stepping stone to reaching your potential. Understand you have infinite ability, but you must grow into it. Therefore, it’s essential you develop the habit of saying yes to new opportunities when they present themselves. Don’t play it safe, be prepared to take some risks.

I encourage you to discover your why? However, resist the temptation to be consumed with the question of why? But rather ponder on where these events will be bringing you. Know you are being led to somewhere beautiful, beyond your present harsh reality. Once you get to where, you’ll know the why?

I encourage you to understand that nothing great in life comes easy, greatness comes with a price tag. Fulfilling your greatest will require hard work and dedication however the benefits far outweigh the sacrifice. Realising your greatness is not necessarily linked with being rich, being popular, highly educated or being perfect. It’s more about being humble, being able to share your blessings and making a difference in your life and the lives of those around you.

I encourage you to live a life of learning. Be the best student you can be. Live each and every day as if it were your last. Make time to be kind to yourself, say something positive to everyone you meet, be kinder to yourself when you make a mistake, challenge your negative thoughts and look for the upside, write down your dreams and plans for the future.

I encourage you to know who your friends are. When you’re up in life, your friends get to know who you are. When you’re down in life, you get to know who your friends are. There will be many people who will be great to be around when times are easy. Instead, take note of the people who remain in your life when times are hard. A real friend is one who walks in when the rest of the world walks out.
