Have you noticed that as soon as we make that
decision to change it’s as if someone has opened the floodgates for analysis paralysis? The opportunity presents
itself and all of a sudden we find ways to convince ourselves that we don’t
have all the facts, the timing isn’t quite right, something bad will happen if
we take action, or we just haven’t worked out the right solution yet. These
feelings of uneasiness and unsteadiness cause us to squander precious time and
lose the momentum for change.
What is the
root cause of this all-too-prevalent mental malaise? F.E.A.R, False Evidence
Appearing Real.
What is the
solution? F.A.I.T.H, Full Acceptance In Trust and HOPE. When we are in a state of FEAR we limit what we can receive
because we are closed, when we transition to a state of FAITH we open ourselves to receive all that we desire.
A wise man once said, ‘If we do not learn from the
past we are doomed to repeat it.’ It’s okay to look back and learn, but if you drive
a car looking in the rearview mirror, you’ll end up in a ditch. Another way of
saying this is, “If we do what we’ve always done, we’ll get what we always
got.” Whether good or bad, don’t get stuck in the past.
