The Price Of Success

With all that’s going on in the world today there’s one thing for sure and that is (There Is A Price For Success.) No matter what the goal or aspiration that you may desire there will be a price to pay to get what you say you want. Whether you buy into the saying “If you enjoy what you do, you’ll never work a day in your life” or not there will be a price to pay and a sacrifice/sacrifices to make. I personally lean towards the saying “The only place that success comes before work is in the dictionary.”

Whether you’re passionate or not, driven or not to achieve what you’ve never seen or experienced will take overcoming your fears, commitment, dedication, discipline and perseverance. You will need to accept that failure is not an option, remove excuses from your vocabulary. You will need to accept the responsibility which comes with the terrain without blaming external events or seemingly uncontrollable circumstances for your problems. And a classic that many will struggle with is giving up something which is good in order to gain something which is even better. Your job for your business. Wages will pay your bills whereas profits will change your life.

Now don’t get me wrong succeeding in life is not easy however it is definitely worth it. Ask anyone who has gone the distance to achieve their goals. With the landscape that we live in constantly changing many of you would have already experienced the shock of having your dream come true to work from home. You may now be coming to terms with the reality that it’s not all that it’s made up to be. For others, you’re in your element enjoying each day as it comes. The difference “If you fail to plan you plan to fail.”

In addition, when taken out of the office environment with all the support to hand you may feel isolated, lament over the lack of social interaction. For those of you with children, there will be the added pressure of home schooling with all that it brings. Now here’s where not having a well-designed plan of action separates the haves from the have nots. Those who have a plan and execute it will generally thrive whereas those who do not will find themselves self-sabotaging. Procrastination, being easily distracted by social media, a lack of discipline and focus will be your undoing.

It won’t be easy but it will be worth it. Make your dreams your REALITY.
